This Privacy Policy explains how 越戰麻雀 (Mahjong War) ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information. By creating an account or using the App you agree to this policy.

• Account information — username, email address, and a securely hashed password when you register. Guest play does not require an email.
• Gameplay data — match results, scores, rankings, in-game statistics, friend lists, and replays needed to operate the game and leaderboards.
• Optional audio — if you enable voice features, microphone audio is transmitted only while a voice session is active. We do not record or store voice audio.
• Technical data — device type, app version, and basic diagnostic / crash logs used to keep the service stable.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and authenticate your account.
• To run matches, save progress, compute rankings, and show leaderboards.
• To enable social features such as friends and invitations.
• To diagnose crashes and improve performance and game balance.

3. How Information Is Stored

Account and gameplay data are stored on managed cloud infrastructure (Supabase and our game server hosts). Passwords are stored only as salted hashes — we never store plaintext passwords. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS / secure WebSocket).

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. Limited data may be processed by infrastructure providers strictly to operate the service (e.g. database hosting). We may disclose information if required by law.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us at the address below. Deleting your account removes your personal account information from our active systems.

7. Account Deletion

To delete your account and associated personal data, email us with your username and the email address used at registration. We will process the request within a reasonable period.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
